The young Norwegian songwriter told us something about her, her work and what she thinks of the Eurovision Song Contest

LUGANO - The very young Norwegian songwriter Aurora will be launching the Roam Festival, the kermesse dedicated to the pop, rock, indie and alternative music of LongLake Festival. She is just 21 years of age, Aurora (Aksnes is his last name), but she already earned hundreds of thousands of fans all over the world. Her debut album "All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend" has won numerous awards and with her angelic voice lurks and fascinates.

Your debut album, "All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend", was received very positively. What do you think about it?

"It's great that people liked it. It's always a special thing, I believe, to release the first album. The first pages of a long eternal book! I can not wait to continue the journey! "

Some of your songs have been used in movies and TV series: do you think your music is particularly good with cinema?

"I think all music contains pictures and colors, because everything is connected! I think my music is very visual and create certain emotional images in people's minds. I'm happy to see that movies and shows make use of it. "

Do you feel like a "Winter Bird", the title of one of your songs?

"Sometimes yes. Other no, it depends on what season and what day it is. "

Do you like the Eurovision Song Contest? Would you like to show Norway one day at this show?

"I do not think it will ever happen! It's not something for me, I do not use music to compete or impress! "

In an interview you said you wrote 1000 songs in poems and poems: do you think you can create a music for each of them?

"Perhaps not a thousand, but certainly there are a lot of lyrics, songs and poems hidden in my home ... I think many of them will be forgotten forever, as they were only thought for the moment they were written."

What are you doing these days?

"On my new album, and I'm preparing for the next concerts!"

Will it be your first time in Switzerland? Do you like Country?

"I've been there twice before, I think. I love Switzerland very much. It's such a nice country (with good food) and the audience is wonderful. I can not wait!"
