What Are We Doing ?
Warriors & Weirdos! You’re invited to join us in a worldwide video collaboration project to give AURORA a 20th birthday surprise! Please send us a video of you giving AURORA a birthday wish. We will first gather all contributions, and our video editor will turn them into one single collaborative video that belongs to Worldwide Warriors & Weirdos communities. This project meets the missions of Aurora Worldwide.
Why Should You Contribute To This Project ?
Introduce yourself to AURORA. Certainly, she will be watching the video. If you offer your birthday wish, you will most likely get recognized by her.
Thank AURORA. We all have different reasons to thank AURORA. This is a golden opportunity to express your love & appreciation.
Encourage AURORA to continue being herself and making music. Do not ever underestimate your support and appreciation. Artists need every bit of your love to make good music.
Promote W&W communities. Music has the magic to bring people together. There is nothing more pleasing than seeing people around the world working together.
What Are We Looking For ?
Present your birthday wish to AURORA in a “short” video. No language preference; no celling for creativity. You may collaborate with your friends or do it on your own. Here are a few suggestions on what you can do in the video:
1. Shortly introduce yourself; say what your want to say to her.
2. Say what you like about Aurora and what her music means to you.
3. Collaborate with friends to act out a little funny scene.
4. A funny speed-drawing, a poem, a joke, a song, an impression,or anything that makes a laugh.
Don’t forget to say Happy Birthday to AURORA in the language you prefer!
Tips: Keep your video as short and concise as possible. Remember that we’re doing a collaborative video. If your video contribution takes too long to present an idea, it wouldn’t be suitable.
How Can You Contribute ?
Simply send your video to 'warrido.worldwide@gmail.com' or give us a link to where your video can be seen and downloaded. The easiest way is having your video uploaded on YouTube and send us the link. Submition ends June 13, 2015 (PT).
Our Suggestions On Your Video Recording
(1) It’s recommended that your video is recorded in HD. A cellphone with HD camera should be sufficient.
(2) To ensure the fluency of the final product, your recording environment should be bright enough.
(3) Your video contribution should be raw and free of editing, but there is an exception:
(4) If you speak a language other than English or Norwegian, you should include an English subtitle in the video.
What You Need To Know Before You Summit Your Contribution.
(1) You must be the owner of the video that is submitted to us.
(2) When you send us a video, you give us an ‘non-exclusive’ right to use it in our video production.
(3) By submitting your contribution, you give us the permission to share the final collaborative video on Aurora Worldwide’s social media platforms.
(4) In order to meet the needs of production, your video contribution might be edited, shortened or even completely cut off from the final video (Only when it’s very necessary, we will contact you when this happens). We promise to respect and fully utilize all contributions to the best of our ability.
(5) All video contributions will be used for this project alone. Your email address or any other personal information will also be kept secret. We will not use your contributions in any other project.
