I had never heard or known about this interview before I found it like 3 days ago.

I thought I had heard and translated all Christine Dancke's interviews (except 2014-2015 that is not available anymore), but I guess I missed this one because there is no live performance or cover song 

I uploaded a video now with English subtitles.

What is said at 5:32 - 5:38 ?
Aurora often uses "he" (and sometimes "she") about songs, albums and a lot of other stuff instead of "it". Is that normal in Norwegian or just Aurora? I have translated it directly to "he", to show exactly what Aurora is saying, but if it is standard in Norwegian, maybe I should translate to "it" ?

Anyone know more details about this story about the Brazilian TV show "Deus Salve o Rei", about a woman mentioning Aurora to a TV show host before dying, or was it just something she made up?

Christine: But what... which coincidences is it that just happens, which makes you damn big in Brazil?

Aurora: I do not know. Maybe a lady was sick and fell, and then he helped her up. And then she said something with my name, and then she died. And then he said: "Ok, I have to remember this wish she had." And then he was a TV host. And then her wish was that I should do something. And then that TV series became big, and then I was on it. And then there were more people who saw it, because it was the right time right then and there.

Christine: So before you knew it, then you had to have a security guards in Brazil.

Here in May 2015 she says she already started getting fans in Brazil in 2015 after the Katy Perry tweet, so it was not just that TV show:

I think she talked about many fans in Brazil on one of the "Lindmo" shows, but I don't remember if that was before or after the TV show aired.

That's normal in Norwegian dialects and nynorsk, it can be used for all things (even abstract ones).

No one really remarked on it in the many videos either Norwegians or others.

Now I have the opposite situation in the latest "Drivkraft" interview. The interviewer Vegard uses "den" (it) for 11-year old Aurora:

Men denne elleveåringen, var den målbevisst? Hadde den målsettinger?
(But this 11-year old, was it goal-oriented? Did it have objectives? )


Is this a "quirk" of the dialect again, or specifically of him do you think?

If it is him, I'll probably preserve it and translate as "it", otherwise if it is a general dialect feature, I think it should be changed to "she"?

it's not like it's about "that" eleven-year-old? About her but not so directly?

They talked about her writing Runaway at 11 a bit earlier, and now he goes back to asking, what she was like back then, and I guess he is metaphorically talking about her 11-year old self as a different person from her now, but I'm not sure why he couldn't use "she" anyway.

I've heard this before and that's what I thought about this eleven year old. And I asked if it could be like that, because I'm not Norwegian
