“Aurora seemed like she was ready for the world a bit before we had planned.”
“But then I remembered an exercise where Aurora... stood and sang. It was so amazing. And incredibly charming. Per Mygland came up and we heard it together, and considered it to mean that we must just run with it. She's ready. Why wait? And so we did it.” [3]
Geir Luedy has worked with AURORA after seeing and hearing the first posting of a performance posted (unbeknownst to Aurora) on Facebook by a friend of hers. Per Mygland noticed “a young girl here who has received 1,000 likes in one hour” and prompted Geir to check it out. When they both listened they “decided to take a meeting with her and her parents.”
At that time there had already been many contacts with Aurora by other parties and Made decided to wait a bit before Mr. Luedy and Made made an agreement with Aurora.
After beginning their collaboration, much time was spent in developing the “fun” aspects of Aurora’s talents, as Mr. Luedy reports “I think it is necessary to build trust, both ways. When it comes to artist development .“
Additionally, much time must go into “the music, with all its branches. Who will produce the disc? Which songs should we spend time on? Which songs should we spend less time on? Which songwriters would we like to collaborate with?” Other considerations such as which publisher might be interested, came into play as well.
“We started quite early to take pictures of Aurora, so she got used to the situation. And that she, above all, should be aware that 'this here is part of my expression...'” (read more of the 2015 article this short bio is translated/paraphrased from HERE.)
